1. Service Disclaimer

While every effort is made to complete work safely and professionally, vehicle locking systems and immobilisers are complex electronic systems. Lost Keys Rescue Auto Locksmith cannot guarantee that programming or access procedures will not reveal pre-existing faults or cause issues with previously damaged systems.
 

2. Proof of Ownership Requirement

Customers must provide proof of vehicle ownership and identification before work begins. We reserve the right to refuse service if satisfactory proof of ownership cannot be provided.

Examples of acceptable proof:

  • Vehicle registration document (V5C)

  • Driving licence

  • Insurance certificate
     

3. Vehicle Condition Disclaimer

Lost Keys Rescue Auto Locksmith is not responsible for faults or damage resulting from pre-existing issues with locks, ignition systems, immobilisers, or vehicle electronics.
 

4. Risk Acknowledgement

By requesting our services, the customer acknowledges that procedures such as vehicle entry, key programming, and immobiliser work may carry a small risk of damage to locks, electronics, or vehicle components.
 

5. Non-Destructive Entry Statement

We always aim to use non-destructive entry techniques. However, in certain circumstances (for example damaged locks or deadlocks), drilling or replacement may be required.
 

6. Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for ensuring the vehicle battery is adequately charged and that the vehicle is in a safe condition for programming procedures.
 

7. Key Programming Disclaimer

Some vehicles may lock or erase existing keys during programming. Lost Keys Rescue Auto Locksmith is not responsible for previously programmed keys that are not present during programming procedures.
 

8. Call-Out Fees

Call-out fees apply for attendance regardless of whether work is completed.
 

9. Cancellation Policy

Protects your time.

Example:

Appointments cancelled within 1 hour of arrival may still incur a call-out charge.
 

10. Payment Terms

Example wording:

Payment is due immediately upon completion of work. We accept cash, card, or bank transfer.
 

11. Warranty / Guarantee

Replacement keys and parts are covered by a 3-month workmanship warranty unless otherwise stated.
 

12. Limitation of Liability

Lost Keys Rescue Auto Locksmith shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.
